Insolvency and Restructuring – Working in Partnership with Insolvency Practitioners

Working in close partnership with IPs, we provide responsive, strategic support in:

• Pre-appointment advisory – guiding strategy and legal risk on proposed appointments, including administrator consents, qualifying floating charge issues, and CVA structuring

• Appointment mechanics – preparing and reviewing statutory documents, notices, proposals, and court applications for administration orders or winding-up petitions

• Asset realisation – advising on sales of business and assets, security reviews, ROT claims, antecedent transactions, and enforcement of officeholder powers

• Litigation and investigations – pursuing misfeasance claims, preference and transaction-at-undervalue actions, wrongful and fraudulent trading, and director disqualification

• Creditor engagement – supporting officeholders in committee matters, challenging proofs of debt, and managing high-stakes disputes

• Cross-border and complex appointments – advising on UNCITRAL Model Law recognition, COMI disputes, and UK/EU jurisdictional issues post-Brexit
